Sunrise Gurney Apartment - George Town

The rooms at Sunrise Gurney were awesome! They had everything we needed, like a washing machine, a flat-screen TV, and a comfy sofa. The tile/marble floor gave the room a clean and modern vibe. Some units even had a separate seating area, perfect for cozying up with a movie. And guess what? They had air conditioning too!

I'm not a fan of the electric kettle in the room. But hey, that's just me!

The apartment was tidy and cozy, with extra pillows and blankets provided. It comfortably accommodated our family of 5, with the added convenience of extra mattresses. The apartment had 3 rooms and 2 toilets, making it ideal for families with children. The free wifi had exceptional reception, and the host, Brad, was always available when needed. The location was fantastic, with a coffee shop within walking distance and famous eating places nearby. We enjoyed great views of the sunrise and city from the apartment and gym area. We will definitely book this apartment again when we visit Penang.

The location of the hotel is perfect as it is close to everything, including eating places and the city centre. the rooms are clean and furnished with modern amenities, such as king/queen size beds. the hotel offers a breathtaking view of the sea, allowing guests to enjoy a wonderful sunrise from the comfort of their bedrooms.

Some of the pillows provided were too thin for our liking.

The sea view was absolutely stunning and we even got to enjoy fireworks on Christmas Eve. The staff provided excellent service, always available and even gave us complimentary coffee, tea, and chocolates. The homestay had all the necessary amenities, including free wi-fi, an electric kettle, cookware, a flat-screen TV. The cleanliness, security, and comfort of the spacious apartment exceeded our expectations. it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it for a pleasant and affordable stay.

I totally recommend this comfy apartment to all, truly enjoyed it. Thank you for really great stay for family or group vacation and just off nearby mall and Gurney Paragon and Gurney Plaza and eating place.

The apartment was clean and had location right by all shopping malls and hotels and taxis. They had a handy kitchenette, prepared our dinners there.

My stay at Sunrise Gurney was overall satisfactory. The database provided useful information about the property, particularly about the available amenities. I found it helpful to know that the apartment had a double bed, which provided ample space for a comfortable night's sleep. the two toilets in the apartment were a great convenience, especially for families or groups traveling together.

The database mentioned that the vehicle parking lot was limited, which caused inconvenience for families with more than two units.

I always choose this place for my stay because I have no regrets. The staff helped me return my forgotten earphones, which was so helpful. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, cookware, and a flat-screen TV. It's perfect for my city break.

The comfort level was off the charts! The king size beds were absolutely massive and the air conditioning was mind-blowing, keeping us cool at all times. We were also thrilled to have a water dispensing machine in the room. The stay was super enjoyable!

The food for breakfast could be more varied.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the stunning view from the apartment. Waking up to a breathtaking sea view every morning made me feel like I was living in a postcard, with the shimmering waves and colorful boats. It was a visual treat that truly made my stay memorable.

Mattress comfort needs improvement.

Everything is easily accessible from the hotel.

The air conditioning takes some time to cool down the whole apartment, resulting in some areas becoming hot and stuffy.

The room was comfortable with big king size beds, and the bathroom was clean with a water dispensing machine. the air conditioning provided constant cooling temperature and was superb.

The location was perfect, just a short cab ride away from Georgetown center. The view from the apartment was absolutely amazing. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 10. It was great to have multiple toilets and shower rooms at the gym and pool facility, eliminating any bathroom congestion. The water purifier in the house was a convenient touch. it was a great value for the money!
